WHO IS KATIE LEIGH?

I trained in Fine Art and combine my innate healing power, Astro-counselling, and psychic skills with my occult craft to create spells, charms, talismans, spiritual vision quests, wands, and other beautiful magical tools to empower my clients and students to manifest their hearts’ desire, healing their lives, adjusting my magic and wisdom to the needs of spiritual seekers of all traditions, integrating with the Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, Islamic, and other systems, thus creating positive change in harmony with each unique being’s spirit.

My family originated in the Welsh borders with records of healers and psychics that go back to the late 1700s.  After years of travel, I settled in Llantrisant to raise my daughter.  In Llantrisant I am regarded as a local resource and was often stopped in the street and asked to interpret a dream, protect a child or give healing.

With its ancient traditions, character and history of witches, magicians and druids, its ley lines and natural springs, Llantrisant made an ideal base for practical magic.

I am initiated in the Gwyddon tradition.  As a pagan I emphasise the universality of ancient wisdoms, the need to harmonise one’s lifestyle with one’s environment, and balancing the four elements and spirit to create dynamic joy and achievement of potential. Now I have returned to Eryrie and the mountains where I spent my early days

WHERE I LIVE AND WORK

The Gwyddon Celtic tradition teaches the power of our environment to shape and change our lives and the importance of living in harmony and elemental balance with the earth around us.

After moving every time Saturn changed signs at my first Saturn return I became a mother and settled in a hill town in South Wales. There on Ironstone rock with a castle at my back, I used my psychic gifts and magical training to help and heal others. But I longed for the mountains of my youth.

When my daughter flew free I moved north again, older and wiser in the ways that geography shapes all natural and spiritual beings. It took two and a half years to renovate my home besides the wild torrent. During this Saturn phase, I traveled to local stone circles and wilderness sites to work as I adapted to the different energies. The ley patterns carry very different energies. Here I am on Copper between mountains holding Lead and Silver to the south and Gold to the north. My senses are more alert to human and natural distress without the grounding Ironstone of the south but with a large garden to take and recycle that energy my magical task is to mitigate, even reverse the harm done to our Ddaer Fam- Mother Earth.

I am within the parish of Pennal where Glyndwr wrote the famous Pennal Letter. Owain Glyndwr was a polymath who united Cymru when the king he had sworn allegiance to was deposed. One of my heroes from childhood and as Shakespeare says a Wizard who disappeared into the mists like Arthur. I am close to the Centre for Alternative Technology where cunning adaptations to cope with changing climate and live in harmony with nature have been disseminated over the Globe. I am here intentionally because here is the epicentre for positive change in Ynys Prydain – Britain. here to help people but predominantly here to serve my Goddess of Nature in all her manifestations
